The Political Pub does not adhere to any poltical party, organisation or philosophy. We are neither Democrat nor Republican. Neither Left nor Right. Our goal is to create a lively and engaging environment where we can raise a glass and collectively discuss and dissect the issues of our day.
We do not seek consensus. We do not wish to sway minds towards one direction or another. We do not seek to take political action. We simply want to offer everyone who attends the opportunity to listen and learn, to share their own ideas and opinions, and to be open to other voices who may well challenge their own convictions.
We don’t expect everyone to agree, and the world would be a pretty boring (or perhaps tyranical) place if that were the case. However, we know we can do better than entrenched politicians trading snipes across the aisle. We know with a good crowd and a couple of pints we can exchange ideas, consider other points of view, learn a thing or two, and above all, have a good time.
